Babies, Babies, Everywhere!!

It seems that for the last 3 months everyone I know is either having a baby or their babies are having babies! I have been knitting like mad trying to keep up with this mini baby boom, and it seems everyone is having girls! Of course, with every baby there is a baby shower, or two, or even three. Since it can't all be knitted gifts, I turned to our office to pull out some of the items from our baby line. Nothing is more useful to a new mother than something that makes the baby's room smell fresh and clean, and lavender is wonderful for that. Our line of baby sachets were just the ticket, and the linen spray also comes in handy for baby room freshening. For comfort there was also the line of heart-shaped heatable aromatherapy pads, which comfort baby and mother both. I was saved, and the mothers-to-be had something new and different in their gift piles.
Babies, as well as grown-ups, benefit from the calming scent of lavender. It is a joy to work in our offices, as the lavender really provides a sweet-smelling and calm environment for our day to day tasks. It's like working in a spa all day long.
Check out the website this month for sales on our sachets. Perfect for gifts, and the holiday season is right on us!

It is that time of year we can all pause and take a deep breath; the time between the kids going back to school and the approaching holidays. Now is the best time to give yourself the gift of relaxation. Schedule a spa day, or pack a lunch and head for your favorite outdoor spot,or Kick back with a good book, light a lavender candle, put on a pair of warm Forgiving Feet after a relaxing Lavender Milk Bath, and enjoy the moment. The holidays will be here soon enough and life will be crazy again! While you're reading that book, try a little lavender mint tea. Be sure to use culinary lavender (available from Lavender Meadows; please phone to order as it is seasonal) to make this refreshing, calming tea:2 tsp dried mint1/2 tsp culinary lavenderpinch ginger2 cups boiling waterBrew mint and ginger in teapot for 10 minutes. Add the lavender to the pot. After cooling strain the herbs out. Sweeten with honey to taste. Add a few berries if desired, pour over ice and enjoy. May also be served warm.

Hi everyone.
We are really moving ahead with the holiday season. I know it seems early, but it's time to start shopping!
Tip of the month: All our pets really suffer from fleas at this time of year. Try using lavender sachets in their bedding, or spray with Lavender Meadows Laundry and Linen Spray to help keep fleas away from your beloved pets.
